FatFace

Fat Face is a leading designer of men's clothing, women's clothing and kids clothing for an active lifestyle with 170 stores in the UK. Having grown dramatically since it was founded by Jules Leaver and Tim Slade in 1998, the company wanted to look at how well it communicates internally. How effective are the delivery mechanisms between head office and the local stores? What of the role of the regional managers? Are management as visible as they could be? How well integrated are the different divisions?

Over a period of three months, Axiom undertook a comprehensive review of Fat Face’s internal communications procedures - the outcome of visits to 10 stores, focus groups, the development of a questionnaire, and interviews with senior management. The result was a comprehensive report on Fat Face’s internal communications procedures and a list of recommendations for the future.
